I actually heard about SoulMate on the Tom Joyner Morning
Show. I ordered the DVD and I can't wait until it
arrives. I will be 40 in 6 months and I have never been
married. I am single mother of a 17 yr old son and I am a
Christian. I am so glad that this topic is being address
and it encourages and sometimes saddens me to know that I
am not alone in my walk as a Black Single Christian Women.

We haven't done the movie night just yet. But I saw it at
Faithful Central a few weeks back and absolutely LOVED it. I
really felt that it spoke to the heart of a woman. These are
issues that we often think about, but are too afraid to
admit to ourselves. It is a tough pill to swallow that, that
high percentage could include you! I left feeling both
comforted and slightly heart broken. Finally there it was
the truth right in front of my face. There was no hiding
from it...the comfort came in knowing that spiritually there
was a way to deal with the pain that not living that life
long dream might bring. We're still toying around with
exactly when we are going to watch it as a group ( I bought
so many copies of that DVD that night and mailed them to my
girlfriends lol). I think that she did an excellent job. And
I thank her from the bottom of my heart for it. --

I was so happy to see the trailer of this film. I had
already shared with some girl friends a long time ago. We
single women are all in a class by ourselves. particularly
in our late 30's - 40's. Its reality and it's sad. I think
this film is much needed to open the eyes to everyone and
particularly certain men and woman because everyone has their
own special list of what kind of person that like or want.,
i.e. light skin, tall, this and that. I can't wait to see
the film. -- O. T., Indianapolis
I think this DVD is awesome just from the caption that I
seen on the website. I will be purchasing this DVD for
the single's at my church.

'm 54 yrs old, single, but don't want 2
be. I've been married at age 19, but I never really had a
HUSBAND in the traditional sense, in that I think it was a
game for him. Still looking. At my age I haven't given up
yet because I'm a vibrant woman. It's just not a lot to
choose from. I figure all the men in my age bracket (40's
50's), if they are any good, they already have mates,
whether they are married or not. -- CM,

I heard about your film in a newspaper, in the "Gazette" (I
think that was the paper it was in)- a black, Dallas/Fort
Worth, TX newspaper. I went to your site and was really
touched by what I saw in the preview for the film; both as a
Christian and as a black woman.
I am 21 years old, and though
I am in a relationship, I can definitely relate to the
struggle of finding a good, Christian black man when your a
single, Christian black woman. I have faced many struggles
just finding a decent man period-especially one that was
all about Christ, respectful, faithful and honest-but
thankfully I found him. In addition I have an older
sister-who is a beautiful, strong, smart, Christian woman who
is a doctor and seems to be facing this very same struggle
in single life. I feel that this film would probably touch
her and many other women's lives.
It appears society has us
beautiful black queens on the low end of the scale-at the
bottom of the tottem-pole. However, Jesus sees the value in
us and if we put our trust in him-he will provide that one
according to his will, purpose and plan. -- C. E., Dallas
I will definitely be ordering this DVD. It is something that
myself and several girlfriends are currently having dialogue
about today. Being single and wondering where are the God
fearing men. I am 40, never married, no children and I agree
with many women on the trailer that of course I want to have
that complete partnership but where are they. Please send me
any information about screening, dialogue group, etc. In
case know one else says it - THANK YOU! -- V. A.,
